Creative Journal
Thoughts and considerations in the creative process
I believe it is important to have space where you, as reader, can follow the human side, creative process, all the successes, but also the hardships in the whole process of creating art. That’s why I started this journal. As a record keeping for me, and as an ‘unfiltered’ insight for you. It shows more than the shop pages, who I am on a static page, and the general explanation about monotype printing. I hope to convey the sense of accessibility to me as a person, and to create the understanding of what it takes to do what I do.
It is my choice not to “build a (so-called) community” on a social media platform such as Instagram, Threads or other major platform. There are some reasons for it, of which the most important are that I/my content becomes their product as those platforms are not mine, they are algorithm driven, and the control on format and content length is theirs.
I have none of those concerns here, so what I post is real without any engagement baits, rage-baits, or trying to get ‘likes’ as a goal.
Enjoy reading and it would be great to be in touch through comments!
